In the Harry Potter movies witches & wizards have a pretty wobbly building style, something that has always annoyed me. Come on, even if they weren't interested in scientific stuff like geometry, they should be able to use magic to get their buildings straight. And why wouldn't they want them that way - it's more practical!

When I read up on timber framing (to see if it would make sense to include that style in my Blockwarts) and saw the photos, I realized that the wobbliness actually has a basis in reality. Although the wizarding world's building style is still wobblier than the real-life buildings and I'm still annoyed about it.
