Finally! Because RL gave me some kind of deadline I finally finished this review!
I was a bit spoilered for this episode. And by 'a bit' I mean I was spoilered for one thing that was huge enough for me to be very spoilered. Maybe I was even more spoilered than that, but my brain is weird: I forget a lot, even spoilers. ...Sometimes that's a good thing.
Heh, it went "Carry on my wayward son" I went *OMGsquee* and paused because I was only checking if the file worked. I had no time to watch it at that moment, NCIS was on TV and I was just too damn lazy to record it. Also I wanted to watch SN when no one could interrupt. God, I hate it when someone comes in when I watch new eps. Especially finales.
New director? This ep looks different. I mean, I know this is a dream sequence, but still. And when Dean wakes up it still looks different. But ooh, the picture is so clear! Where does that quality come from all of a sudden? Maybe it's because of the really nice close up, hm.
Goddammit, not those stupid ads in the logo again!
Ooh, like in Crossroad Blues

Is my brain broken or is the title sequence slightly different? I'm almost sure I'm not imagining it. I even compared it to 3x15's. It looks...shinier.
Heh, a demon detection thingy!
Anna Galvin? I know that I know this name. Ooh, yes, I think it's the woman from The Sentinel. She played an Australian cop. I liked her. And her hair. And I also remember that I really liked a pair of earrings she wore. I mentioned that my brain is weird, right? All the things that I forget are because for some reason I remember things like earrings.
If I didn't know that Dean is going to hell, I would think it's a clue that the demon detection thingy points near a place called Evansville. The name of the guy they saved from his deal in Crossroad Blues was Evan. And if I were a bit desperate I'd also mention that his last name Hudson and the place name Henderson are kinda similar.

Okay, not a new director.
Dean says dammit :oD. I don't think after 24 I could ever hear someone say dammit and not grin or at least smile about it. And Dean says it again, hee. It's cute how he's kinda angry, but not really. I mean, it's just the words, but not how he says it. He says it in a 'I don't want to fight with you on the last day of my life' way. Aw. Also aw at "We are not gonna make the same mistakes all over again." ...Sam will summon Ruby anyway.
Of course he does. "Hey Sam." *big grin*
I wonder if the first thing demons do when they get out of hell is catching up on pop culture, so they can make little references here and there. Ruby acts different. Why does everything seem to be different this ep? Is my brain really broken? Ooh, it's Sam who can save Dean. Ha, it's about his powers, I knew it! Has Ruby never really lied to Sam? Hm...maybe because she doesn't dare - because Sam isour her Demon Jesus.
Slutty little Yoda, LOL. Antichrist Superstar XD. The way Dean seemingly turns to walk away it was clear he was gonna punch Ruby in the face. Yay! But I also love how Ruby punchs back and totally kicks Dean's ass.
They used that shot twice.

Ha, Dean got the knife! And he's got Ruby in a devil's trap, heh. Wow, she's so pissed.
No way Lilith dies this episode. They have the knife now, but the problem with this is that you have to be closer to your target than with the Colt.
"Ruby is just jerking your chain down the road...you know what it's paved with and you know where it's going." I like that sentence. You know, the thought of Sam becoming more like Dean is a bit scary...but it's totally right at the end of Dean's speech: "I think you totally should have been jamming Eye of the Tiger right there." Hee. And Dean totally rehearsed that speech ^^. How they ended that conversation, that equals a hug. Right? Right!
Anna Galvin! It's her! Sometimes my memory is amazing. Heh, a pet named Freckles. "Freckles was mean to me." - "That's nice, dear." XD. So...Freckles, huh? I could be overanalyzing (because it's so much fun), but maybe that's a hidden message. Lilith killed Freckles, and she (well, not personally, but you know...) will kill the other Freckles. What? No, I don't mean Lost!Kate, I'm talking about Dean of course.
So that's what Lilith does for fun. She changes so fast between scary and cute little girl, it's creepy. No change I'll ever get my sister to watch that show. *sigh*
Oh noes, what's with the Impala? ... Phew, it was just Bobby. Bad Bobby! But okay, he isn't a ditchable prom date ^^. "Family don't end with blood." ♥
Sam asks what I'm thinking: Bon Jovi? Because I remember a negative comment Dean made in BUABS(?). "Bon Jovi rocks...on occassion." Heh. What is it with Dean playing fitting but kinda inappropriate songs? Oh well, if he doesn't have a problem with it. Dean sings \o/. And Sam too! Yay. I love this so much.
What's with the Impala's lights? Who is that? Oh, a cop. And that's why the light is broken. Whoa! How did Dean know this was a demon? Shit, he just killed the cop too. Holy shit, Dean can see demons! Must be like when he saw the reaper in Faith. Niiice!
What, only 5 hours, OMG. And they're spending precious minutes trying to hide the cop's car. Dudes, a cop! That could start the trouble with the law again! They're also spending time explaining why Dean can see demon's 'real' faces (I wonder how they look. Do they even have real faces? What do demons look like when they are in hell? Are they clouds there too or do they have bodies? Oh, but now it makes sense that Tammi recognized Ruby although they haven't seen each other since they escaped hell, and Ruby's body was most probably new.). I love the face Dean makes when he says thank you. XD
Hey, those red candy sticks! Wasn't it one of those Jensen poked Jared with in an interview?

The music that plays when Bobby is making holy water reminds me of my favorite piece from the X-Files movie soundtrack. :oD
Ruby! Yeah, how did she get out?
Oh, so that's what Bobby was doing. Cool! And look at Dean's face! :oD

Why does Ruby go into one room, there's no communication between her and Sam that could tell him if the little girl is in the room, and Ruby goes in, but Sam doesn't? o_ô
Mommy wants Sam to kill her daughter. I feared for a moment that Lilith actually possessed the mom there. But still I really wish Sam would just stab the girl (did we ever learn the girl's name?). I mean, it's Lilith - better kill her now before more people die because of her. ... Oh, okay. Good, that Sam didn't stab her. But then where is Lilith?
Oh. My. God.

Dammit, no time for a hug. I'll just blame it on the hellhound.
OMG, Lilith kicked Ruby out of her host? When did that happen? I like Ruby possessed by Lilith. She's a scary kind of awesome.
Being a demon makes everone cooler, even Ruby who is already a demon. And it makes pairings more awesome too. Demon/hunter, OMG yes! I would have screamed Ew! if that was only Ruby, but it's Lilith and I'm almost drooling. Someone explain this phenomenon to me!

I love Lilith's "Sic him, boy."! I don't love all the blood, OMG. OMG, don't kill Sam!
What happened? Ruby looks so scared - is that human!Ruby o_ô? No, it was Sam's power, OMG! Wow! So that's actually Lilith? And she's so scared of Sam, wow. And right, human!Ruby was dead since Bobby shot her or earlier.
The blood in Dean's clothes is done well. Oh god, poor Sammy! *hugs cuddlepillow*
We're moving toward Dean's eye...ooh, are we gonna see hell? I thought we wouldn't, Kripke said they had no money for that. Maybe he just said it, so we wouldn't guess that Dean would actually go to hell? Is that hell? If so, it's kinda lame. I mean, from looking at it, it just doesn't feel so horrible. ...But I can imagine how bad it must be to hang there. It would freak me out, endless space, up could be down, could be left, could be right. OMG, Dean! I wonder if Bela hangs around there somewhere. But the good thing is: it's all not that tragic, since we've seen Dean. We see he's still there. In hell, but, yeah. We see him. I feel much better after this ep than after AHBL1, where Sam was just gone. ...God, I'd love to know where he's been. And the episode ends with Dean yelling "Sam!", just like AHBL1 pretty much started and ended *clutches chest*. And just like after AHBL1 I want to know what happens right after what we've just seen. I wonder how long Sam will sit there. Probably til Bobby finds him. And hopefully he doesn't forget the family in the basement. What will they do with all the dead bodies in the neighborhood? What will they do with Dean? Where is Ruby now? In hell? Maybe she'll help Dean get out. Or maybe she'll keep Dean's body warm, while Lilith is using Ruby's host. I want more Lilith!Ruby! LOL, Dean possessed by Ruby, imagine those episodes. It would be so WTF?! And why does the hiatus have to be so long?
I was a bit spoilered for this episode. And by 'a bit' I mean I was spoilered for one thing that was huge enough for me to be very spoilered. Maybe I was even more spoilered than that, but my brain is weird: I forget a lot, even spoilers. ...Sometimes that's a good thing.
