Wow, only took me less than a month to finally make a post about this! My probably rather boring account, here you go:

On August 10 was our meet-up and I went there in my Touriarty outfit, including iPod (my phone can't play music) and chewing gum.

I wore earrings that I had bought and adapted just for this costume.

When I got off the tram and walked the rest way to meeting place, in front of me I saw a girl who had gotten off that tram too and she had a Union-Flag bag. Because of the flag and because she walked in the same direction, I wondered if she was going to the meet-up too.

I don't look shy. That's what Union-Flag-bag girl told me.
This is probably the story of my life. Ah, the memories of school. Thing is, I don't know what I look like from the outside, but I'm pretty sure that a lot of times I looked pretty intimidated. Yet no one ever took my shyness seriously! Until I finally had my Asperger's diagnosis (unfortunately by that time I had been out of school for years). Yay for that!
