Departure day! Had to get up 4:15am -_- and 5 o'clock we left, took a taxi to the airport.
Ooh, for the first time in a real Brititsh taxi! So much space!
5:25 we arrived at the airport. My mom wanted to discuss the price with the driver, because it was 2.50 or something above the price she had agreed on when she had called the day before. But that was a really stupid idea, since we didn't have time for that - we had a flight to catch!
She gave up and we went into the airport. In the check-in line she pointed a guy out to me who was wearing a The Resistance shirt, hee. When we were in the middle of the queue an airport employee came, which was a bit scary, because it reminded me of the Edinburgh vacation before, where the employee had announched that flights were cancelled due to that Icelandic volcano. But this time was better. The guy called for people with destination Berlin. Ooh, we got an extra line, because it was only 15 minutes until the gate was supposed to close.
We didn't miss our plane, yay! We had about 5 small children on board, boo! Two of them sitting in the row right behind us, argh.

The plane started late (which wasn't our fault, yay!) and we had to wait for a slot.
One of the planes that got to depart before we did.
Ocean Apartments from the plane. My zoom is awesome (the weather not so much).
Same thing unzoomed.
Ooh, I saw a cloud bow! And a glory!
I always wanted to see that. That was why I chose to sit on the shadowy side.
Speaking of shadows...
10:30 (German time) we arrived in Berlin. Took a coach to Dresden.
Last Pret sandwich.
Back home! And so early (12:30). :oD
I managed to unpack my suitcase and backpack the same day. It's a miracle!
