I felt like doing a picspam of Sherlock smiling. The problems of trying to tell a friendly face from a smile were unexpected.
"We'll start with the riding crop."
"Potential flatmates should know the worst about each other."
"You stopped her husband being executed?"
"Oh no, I ensured it."

"Found your website, The Science of Deduction."
"What did you think?"
"Brilliant! Yes! Four serial suicides and now a note. Oh, it's Christmas!"
"Impossible suicides? Four of them? There's no point sitting at home when there's finally something fun going on!"
"Look at you, all happy. It's not decent."
"Who cares about decent? The game, Mrs. Hudson, is on!
"The police don't go to private detectives."
"How can you possibly know about the drinking?"
"Shot in the dark. Good one, though."
"What do people normally say?"
"Piss off!"
"And I assume she scrubbed your floors, going by the state of her knees."

"We've got ourselves a serial killer. I love those, there's always something to look forward to."
"Do people usually assume you're the murderer?"
"Now and then, yes."
"A few hours after his last victim and now he receives a text that can only be from her. If somebody just found that phone, they'd ignore a text like that, but the murderer would panic."
"So I'm basically filling in for your skull?"
"Relax, you're doing fine."
"You think he's stupid enough to go there?"
"No, I think he's brilliant enough. I love the brilliant ones. They're all so desperate to get caught."

"What?"
"Nothing, just... 'Welcome to London'."
"That was ridiculous. That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever done."
"And you invaded Afghanistan."
"Says who?"
"Says the man at the door."

"She was clever. Clever, yes. She's cleverer than you lot and she's dead!"
"Taxi for Sherlock Holmes."
"I didn't order a taxi."
"It was you, not your passenger."
"Whatever bottle you chose, I take the pill from the other one. And then together we take our medicine."
"Either way, you're wasted as a cabbie."
"And here you are on a kamikaze murder spree. What's that about?"
"I'll have the gun, please."
"Are you sure?"
"Definitely. The gun."
"You don't wanna phone a friend?"
"The gun."
"I know a real gun when I see one."
"But he wasn't a very nice man."
"No. No, he wasn't really, was he?"
"And frankly a bloody awful cabbie."
"That's true, he was a bad cabbie."
"You should have seen the route he took us to get here."

"That's how you get your kicks, isn't it? You risk your life to prove you're clever."
"Why would I do that?"
"Because you're an idiot."
Only John Watson can call Sherlock Holmes an idiot and get away with it.
"What are you so happy about?"
"Moriarty."
"What's Moriarty?"
"I've absolutely no idea."

"Oh no, I ensured it."
