Help?
Planning something with more than one other person is complicated DX! The internet is so full of awesome websites that there just has to be a calendar thing where you can put in when you are free and others can do the same, so that finding a day to meet should be easier. Does anyone know if such a thing exists?

Try this: http://www.doodle.com/

And yeah, here I am, reading back in your LJ instead of going to bed.

Ooooh, thanks for the link!

Well, I certainly don't mind. :oD

You're welcome! Hope the link works, I haven't tried it myself yet, but in the TTT forum they use it all the time to find a date where everyone is free (have I invited you to that one already?)

Yeah, that was a long night... Luckily, LJ stops showing pages after you go back 300 entries and then it's each single day, and I gave up after that. I have been known to go back right till the first post of someone, though.

I also realized why I haven't friended you ages ago - especially since you had friended me long before. I truly only ever had seen that other journal with graphics and since I am not much interested in that stuff, I literally saw nothing I would want to comment. Reading back through your entries now showed me that I missed some very interesting/touching/funny ones so I'm truly sorry.

Maybe put an "This is my graphic LJ, my other one is here" into the first post? Just an idea.

I don't know. What is the TTT forum?

I find that really evil of LJ. But maybe that's why they made it that way. Not to be evl, I mean, but to make people stop binge reading.

Hm, I don't know. I like people going from my personal journal to my graphics one, but not the other way around for reasons I have forgotten.

A nice small German forum, mainly about Doctor Who and Torchwood and its actors, but there is Sherlock talk and talk about all kind of other TV series as well. Mostly of course sci-fi and mystery and the like.
It's where I know all my friends from and we sometimes meet either at conventions or at meetings here in Dresden. It's those people I am going to watch the anniversary with also.

If you like to take part in it?

You can check it out here: http://tardis-torchwood.com

But you will only see the official part then. Once you have become a member, there is also another part about the meetings, and also a corner for fanfiction and fan art and so on. We just had a challenge about the Twelfth Doctor, that's why I wrote this story I posted the other day. They were posted anonymously and then points could be given.

We also will have an Advent Calendar at Christmas, where everyone can provide something for it. Last year I let my figures bake Christmas cakes, this year I did a poem.

It's really a nice community (with all kind of sexualities as well) and what I love most about it, that there is no fighting and no name-calling. I know many of those people personally and it's like a big family.

Hm...sounds nice (especially the part about people not being wankers), but I don't know. I'd be a stranger and it just feels like I'd stay and outsider.

We have gotten many new people recently, it's not just old ones. There are new ones all the time. But the part about people not being wankers is very important, because that was the original reason this forum was founded. Since in the big Doctor Who forum they don't like fangirls and David Tennant. In our forum, everyone can fangirl whoever they want. I had bad experience with a Stargate forum once but I quickly joined this forum as I sensed the mood was nice and friendly. You don't find that too often in the internet nowadays.

Oh well, it's worth a try.
