We went to the Ocean Terminal shopping center and split up into 2 groups.
Mom and family friend visited Her Majesty's Yacht Britannia.
Meanwhile sis and I did a bit of shopping. Among other things, we got some things for Mother's Day, which was 3 days away. And because handily UK's Mother's Day had been earlier, these things were reduced. Muahahaha, money saving thanks to different holiday dates.
Then we all met up again and shopped some more. My mom treated my sister to a tartan bag and me to a bear from Build A Bear (I would have taken a My Little Pony, but the clothes don't fit them).
Jedinbear in the making.
Finished Jedinbear (Jedi + Edinburgh + bear).
Funny candle that reminded me of John Watson's love of sweaters.
Sis bought this thing with her name on it (because unlike at home they actually have her name here) and look at all the Lily Potterish things! Lily! Silver! Doe!
OMG, I knew this pub existed (had seen a picture of it on Tumblr), but I didn't know where in Edinburgh it was.
We went to a German bakery & confectionery. Ah, finally the sort of bread and cake we're used to.
Om nom nom!
Robert the Bruce must have been a Sontaran.
