From Königstein we took the ferry to the other side of the river and walked to Rathen. Man, did we see many animals and interesting plants on the way!
So many bikes!
MacGyvered bells. To keep birds away or something.
Geese!
Goats!
Ginkgo!
Interesting tree fungus.
Interestingly shaped leaves.
So many cacti!
Row of pigeons.
Someone has lots of fancy birds in cages and on the meadow.
What a colorful duck!
Canada geese!
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Butterflies love summer lilac. Try to count the butterflies.

I've never seen such a big (finger-sized) caterpillar before! It's a (possibly Small) Elephant Hawk-moth. Seeing the moth version of it would be supercool!

At 17:00 the last paddle steamer of the day passed us. D'oh, we meant to take it.
