Fandoms  
I was so far behind on the Heroes rewatch that I've given up on it now. I just don't have the time. :o/

A rewatch for which I do have a bit of time is Sherlock. I'm even well on the way to finishing it by the time the new season starts! (I'll let you know if I just jinxed it.)

Why do I always put so many things on my to-do list?! Watching the Fantastic Beasts movie with my mom and sister is set for Monday. I really wanted to finish rereading the script (and with that my review of it) before I go see the movie. Probably not gonna happen *sigh*.

Yay, Rogue One situation is sorted, though not the way I intended. More later.

And speaking of Star Wars: Carrie Fisher! ;___;
I don't know if I can watch Episode VIII in cinema now - maybe you remember how uncomfortable I am with crying in public.

TV-show news  
  • Dylan Bruce (Paul from Orphan Black) will play a recurring character on Heroes Reborn!

  • There's a 24 spin off in the works. I'm sort of tempted to watch it, but on the other hand I really don't want to.

  • Joel McHale (Community) will be on the X-Files revival. He'll play the anchor of a popular conservative (online) news channel. Heh, Fox shows do love to allude to their network.

A few fandom updates  
First official Sherlock convention:
Things are moving forward for this event, we have had to try to work around the guests filming work and as everyone is very busy its been very hard for us to get a date and a venue and get the guests we would like to be able to attend BUT things are now coming together :-)

At this point its looking very good and we should have some great news for you all very soon :-)

One thing we will say we think at this time that the event will be this year and it will come up quite quick and we are looking at the event taking place in the next 3 months so we know which guests are available to attend the con.

Oh god, please be not before early August, because I don't have time! And I hope it won't be announce at such short notice that I won't be able to get everything booked.

I read the book, The Casual Vacancy, on holiday, and I absolutely loved it… you read a book, and you always imagine the people you know as the characters. Well, I do. There’s always someone you have in your imagination, and it was amazing to read it with me in it!

I read the script, and then I read the book because I knew I’d have time when I was away, and it was so exciting to be reading a book and be reading about me and put myself into that situation!

Just like with 24, I was so glad when Heroes finally ended.  
And just like 24, Heroes is making a comeback. Argh, I don't want to be dragged in again! The show was so good at first, but then it went downhill and we were rescued from further descent by cancelation. So I'm somewhere between excited and annoyed that they'll bring Heroes back. But unlike 24, there'll be different characters and I don't quite know what to think of that. Without the old characters it's not really Heroes, which takes away some of the new show's appeal. On the other hand that could be a fresh start and that adds to the shows appeal. I guess I'll see how well that goes.

But for now I have the urge to rewatch the old Heroes. Last night the urge got even stronger, because I caught up on CSI and there was the Papa Bennet actor in a dad role, aw.

No more Heroes.  
So I hear Heroes was finally cancelled. I am freeeee! \o/

What makes me sad is that it's one of the many shows that end this year. I mean, I wanted to have less fandoms, so I can give them the attention they deserve, but now too many are ending at the same time.
24 is ending too, which means I'm out of Monday shows. Not that it matters. Just something I noticed.
Out of the 10 shows I'm watching 4 are ending and 1 I'm finally giving up on. I wasn't so happy that Supernatural would get a 6th season, but now I'm glad.
